Autologue Awards
You lot don’t make it easy. The quality of Autologue entries was up there with Everest (in those mOunTAiNoUS parts), obliging me to divide the trinkets into two categories – FOOTNOTED and BAREFOOT.
Put simply, if a postscript was either handy or needed, that belongs in the Footnote Divi sion. If the autologue stands on its own two feet, it’s a barefooter. Here we go:
FOOTNOTE DIVI SION
Bronze – gormandiSINGg – robskee reveals the capital sin in seeking seconds, or _e_o_d_ I should say
Silver – e_punge – perhaps the pick of the omitters, with not only a letter expunged, but an elegant ‘cross-out’ from the inevitable Mr X
Gold – Abont face – the brilliance of u-turn in this entry gets better the more you mull on it. Once more, kudos to X for turning language on its head.
(Special Mention poi_tl___ which wasn’t pointless at all, but a very clever kickoff.)
BAREFOOT DIVI SION
Bronze – Redundantq – only because it makes me chohortle. And no, X is not related to this jurist.
Silver – bl_nd - this gem may be sourced, or maybe I’m blind to the wry genius of ML
Gold – emot:(on – congratz Simon L. Try glimpsing at the word and it appears intact, such is the loveliness of the geometry – with credit to X for levering the cogs into action.
(Special Mention to AS too for making us see how profoundly level really is, and to robskee for attempting a psychedelic spectra, with pike.)
