Before I Run Off…
Just a reminder to regular guests of Casa Cassowary, the blog will be in gentle limbo across mid-January. The usual Brainstorm is on ice, though a steady trickle of Birdbrains and other posts will run till January 25, when normal services will resume.
In the meantime, for any Melburnians, if you tune into Triple R next Thursday evening, January 14 at 7pm, you may catch a show about word nerds, with yours truly implicated on the interview roster, along with a surgeon who has a very chequered habit.
The shows’s host is the King of Rubik Chic, Lawrence Leung, who came to visit the language cave I own for an office this week. The Triple R homepage will shed more light on the show, Love You Leung Time, and this more insight into to the nimble-minded LL.
